Offering Hope to Bosnia's Poorest Children
Enrollment is poor across Bosnia, where 64 percent of Roma children do not attend school, and the dropout rates in places like Gradiska, in northern Bosnia, are high. The Roma are the poorest and most marginalized ethnic group in Bosnia. World Vision is working with parents of young children, encouraging them to send their children to school and providing books and other school supplies to help children have the chance for an education.
