President Obama Releases 2012 Budget

On Monday, February 14, President Obama released his budget request for fiscal year 2012. Included in this request was a 15% increase for the overall Development Account, from $2.52 billion (FY10 enacted levels) to $2.918 billion. Specific funding levels for basic education will be released in the Congressional Budget Justification, which is expected in the next few weeks. Press Release
