On Wednesday, October 6, 2010, the Basic Education Coalition and Water Advocates held a congressional briefing on exploring the importance of improved water, sanitation and hygiene in primary schools around the world. Sponsored by Rep. Earl Blumenauer (D-OR), the briefing took place from 9:30-11 am in Room 2168, the Gold Room, of Rayburn House Office Building.
